It is mainly located 14 kilometers from Manali, nestled between Beas Kund and Solang village. This Valley is popular among tourists for its memorizing view of snowcapped mountains and magnification glaciers that attract ski fanatics worldwide. That is why it is also known as a snow valley.

It is a paradise for nature lovers with white snow and the mountain range’s attractive background while offering adrenaline junkies a plethora of different sports activities during the summer and winter seasons such as parachuting, skiing river, rafting, paragliding, zorbing, horse riding, etc. They are thereby making it a perfect and memorable tourist destination across all age groups.

This Time during summers is enjoyable and relaxed in Solang valley. One can try several activities like paragliding, parachuting, camping, zorbing etc., during this beautiful season. Zorbing is the most preferred sport in Solang valley.

In winter, Solang valley e will be fully covered in beautiful and mesmerizing snow. It is also the Time for winter sports like ice skating, skiing etc. The broad slopes of the Valley make it one of the famous ski resorts in India, and recently unique sky lift is made so that people can go on the top and enjoy a slope for their ski.

Best Time to visit Solang Valley:

No doubt Solang valley is a year-round destination. Especially the post-monsoon season that is September to October, is it the Best Time to visit this picturesque Solang valley.

Places to visit in Solang Valley:

  • Great Himalayan National Park: If you move a little further from the Valley, you will find a park located in Kullu, a perfect mix of nature and adventure. That may include tracking, bird watching, camping, Rock climbing, and more, video there are many more activities to indulge, and you may find more activities here if the ones in Solang did not fulfill your adventure thirst.
  • Rohtang Pass: It is another Wonderland situated in the heart of Himachal and considered the gateway to the stunning Lahaul and Spiti valley. You may not find any accommodation options here, but you can freely pitch your tent and relax under the stars anytime between May to October.
  • Kothi: You are looking to escape from your routine for a couple of days, and you want to go to a crowded place, so this is the best place in so long you can visit. The magic of nature can be easily seen here, and the old world charm can be recollected.

Ways to reach here:

  • Air: The nearest airport to Manali is Bhuntar airport, which is 10 kilometers. From there, you can hire a cab.
  • Train: Joginder Nagar railway station is one of the closest stations to Manali, and again from there, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus.
  • Road: you can travel by private cars or cabs, or you can enjoy the well-connected roads by private or state buses which are frequently running from Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Punjab to this Valley.
