The year 2020 has been challenging because of coronavirus. It has taken lives, kept us locked in homes, but we have to stay healthy, and instead of getting afraid, we have to fight against it. To fight against it, we have to take a few safety measures, including washing or sanitizing your hands regularly, wearing a mask and maintaining proper social distancing.

Now we know that the cases are decreasing and the situation is under control. We are also bored sitting in the house, and Christmas and New Year are near too, so it is now VACATION TIME!   • Covid testing is the best option if you choose to travel in case of this pandemic situation. You might not have any symptoms, or you may feel entirely well, but still, there are chances that you are in touch with covid. Also, get your family tested to assure you that you are thoroughly well and you will receive viral it others.
  • Do not even consider traveling if you test positive for covid.
  • You might have to carry a copy of these tests too because at times you are asked to show it.

STEP 2- LIMIT TRAVELLING

After traveling, again get your covid test done. You and your family may feel well, but sometimes, you are in touch with coronavirus without symptoms. You can also spread it to your family or friends, so it is better to take this safety measure because it assures you that you are lovely.

STEP 5- TAKE PRECAUTION AT STOPS

When you travel, you will stop at restaurants, bars, toilets, and other public places so when you do, always keep in mind taking safety measures and avoiding crowded areas as much as possible.

BASIC SAFETY MEASURES

  • Maintain social distancing, i.e., maintain a distance of at least two meters/6 feet or maintain two arms distance.
  • Keep your mouth and nose completely covered when you are outside your room.
  • Keep a distance from your family if you traveled alone until you get tested negative for covid.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap for 20 seconds and sanitize them with a 60% alcohol sanitizer.
  • Take the temperature of your body if you are feeling sick.
  • Avoid going to crowded places because that place can be a hub of getting in touch with covid.

  • Road: you can travel by private cars or cabs, or you can enjoy the well-connected roads by private or state buses which are frequently running from Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Punjab to this Valley.
