Day 1
Arrival Cochin - Athirappilly
Arrive at Cochin airport / railway station and drive to Athirappilly (65 Kms / 02 Hrs). Athirappilly Waterfalls is a popular picnic spot where water plunges from a height of nearly 80 feet before joining the Chalakudi River. Evening back to Cochin. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2
Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Munnar (130 Kms / 04 Hrs). En rote enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvellous Valara & Cheeyyapara Seasonal waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. The drive up the winding roads and hair pin bends will be nothing short of exciting. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening leisure. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 3
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 4
Munnar - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (90 Kms) reaching there around 03 hours. Check into the hotel and relax. Later on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop a few varieties. Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. Boat cruises and sunrise and sunset are particularly recommended. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5
Thekkady - Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel in Thekkady and drive to Alleppey (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). Upon arrival in Alleppey get out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 6
Alleppey - Trivandrum
After breakfast check out from the houseboat in Alleppey and drive to Trivandrum (160 Kms / 04 Hrs). visit the iconic spots Old Travancore Kingdom’s capital Trivandrum includes, Padmanabhaswami Temple, Zoo, Napier Museum, Attukal Temple and Chaitram Art gallery. Later free for shopping. Evening drive to visit Kovalam. Kovalam the international beach destination of Kerala with shallow water for swimming and other water sports activities. Enjoy the beach till the sun set in the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 7
Trivandrum Departure
Morning breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Trivandrum airport/ railway station to board Flight/ Train back to home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
