Day 1
Calicut Arrival – Wayanad (85 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Morning pick up from Calicut and journey to Wayanad by noon time you will reach at Wayanad. Check into the hotel / resort. Afternoon drive to visit Banasura Sagar Dam, it is the second largest earth dam in Asia. There you can enjoy the boating also. After Banasura Sagar Dam drive to Kuruvadweep. Kuruva Island is an evergreen forest lies in the Kabini River; total area of this island is 950 acre. It is a home of uncommon birds, orchids and rare kinds of flora and fauna. Walking through the island will be an unforgettable moments. Overnight at Wayanad.
Day 2
Wayanad Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast drive to visit Muthanga. Muthanga is The Wildlife Sanctuary of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Later you can proceed for the Jeep Safari held in the evening. Collection of rare types of fauna and Green beauty of Muthanga forest will give you some precious moments. Overnight at Wayanad.
Day 3
Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast trek to Chembara Peak. At 2100 meters, the spectacular Chembara Peak located towards the southern part of Wayanad. It is the tallest summit in the region. Climbing this peak is a challenging mountaineering Endeavour. Evening visit Pookode Lake, Set in a beautiful valley and surrounded by evergreen forests and wooded hills, Pookote is one of Wayanad’s top visitor draws. Continue with Lakkidi View Point. Overnight at the Wayanad.
Day 4
Wayanad – Calicut Departure (85 Kms / 03 Hrs)
Check out the hotel after breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing. You will visit Edakkal Cave. Edakkal Cave is a natural cave situated in Western Ghats’s Ambukuthi hill region. It lies above 1200mtr from sea level. You will find the Neolithic and Old age civilization’s carvings and writings. After this spot you will move to the Wayanad Heritage Museum situated in Ambalavayal. There you can explore the history of Wayanad. After the museum proceeds to the Soochippara Waterfalls (If time permits). After sightseeing return drive to Calicut. Drop at Calicut Airport / Bus / Railway Station.
