Tour Overview
Day 1
Arrival Coimbatore / Udumalpet - Kanthalloor
Arrive at Coimbatore Airport / Railway station or Udumalpet Bus / Railway station and drive towards Kanthalloor (130 Kms / 04 Hrs). While viewing the scenic beauty of Chinnar & Marayoor. Arrive at Kanthalloor, check in Hotel/Resort. After a delicious lunch move for sightseeing the shooting spot, walk through the orchard farm there we can see strawberries, white apple, raspberry, sip a glass of homemade grape wine. Next we shall go for an easy trek to (1KM) Keelanthoor falls where we can enjoy nature's core experience at privacy, Back to Hotel/Resort. Overnight stay in Kanthalloor.
Optional: Thrill off road Jeep safari into the wild forest where you can spot deers,Bison,Elephants etc.
Day 2
Kanthalloor - Munnar (50 Kms / 02 Hrs)
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Munnar. Munnar situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. En route visit Sandalwood Forest, Lakkom Water falls and Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted here. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening proceed for local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast, continue your journey to Thekkady (90 Kms) reaching there around 03 hours. Check into the hotel and relax. Later on proceed for a spice plantation tour. Explore wide variety of spices in Kerala. You may also shop a few varieties. Travel by boat on the Periyar Lake to spot the elephants and avifauna for which this reserve is well known. Boat cruises and sunrise and sunset are particularly recommended. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Thekkady - Madurai / Coimbatore Departure
Morning breakfast check out from the hotel and depart from Thekkady to Madurai (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). On arrival proceed towards Madurai airport/ railway station to board Flight/ Train back to home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
