Day 1
Arrival Coimbatore - Munnar
Arrive at Coimbatore airport / railway station and drive to Munnar (190 Kms / 05 Hrs). En rote enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous Lakkom Seasonal waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. The drive up the winding roads and hair pin bends will be nothing short of exciting. Also, visit the Marayoor sandal wood forest. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening leisure. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2
Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake, Echo point and Top station. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 3
Munnar - Coimbatore Departure
Morning breakfast check out from the hotel and depart from Munnar to Coimbatore (190 Kms / 06 Hrs). En route proceed to visit Eravikulam national park (Rajamalai) were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted. Later proceed towards Coimbatore airport/ railway station to board Flight/ Train back to home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
