Day 1
Arrive Jodhpur
Today arrive to the Blue City - Jodhpur and transfer to your hotel. An oasis in the arid Thar Desert, Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. Later proceed for city tour of Jodhpur visit the Meherangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. The palace apartments like Sukh Mahal, Phool Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal etc are beautifully decorated and house Jewellery, costumes, armoury, palanquins, howdahs and other remnants of the past. Overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur. (B)
Day 2
Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (Approx 285 Kms / 5 Hrs 20 Mins)
This morning after breakfast proceed to Jaiselmer. Arrive Jaisalmer and transfer to your hotel. Jaisalmer - a fairy-tale town in the Thar Desert founded about 800 years ago by Rawal Jaisal. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Jaisalmer. (B)
Day 3
Jaisalmer
Today proceed to the city tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the Gadsisar Lake a water conservation tank made around 1400 A.D. by the then maharaja of Jaisalmer, Maharwal Gadsi Singh. Visit the famous Havelis (mansions) known for their frescoes. Jaisalmer's strategic position on the camel terrain route bought it great wealth. The most elaborate and magnifcent of all the Jaisalmer havelis is the Patwaon Ki Haveli. In the evening, proceed for the excursion to Sam Sand dunes. Located at a distance of 42 kilometers from Jaisalmer, Sam Sand Dunes is the closest point to witness the total sandy desert. Overnight at the hotel in Jaisalmer. (B)
Day 4
Jaisalmer - Bikaner (Approx 285 Kms / 5 Hrs 30 Mins)
Today after the breakfast you will drive to Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner & transfer to your hotel. This desert town in northern Rajasthan was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji. Later proceed for half day city tour of Bikaner visiting Junagarh Fort, one of the most interesting forts in Rajasthan, with its sumptuously decorated interiors. Overnight at the hotel in Bikaner. (B)
Day 5
Bikaner - Depart Jodhpur
Today drive to Jodhpur Airport / Railway Station to board your fight / train for onward journey to your next destination. (B)
